About me - Rosemary Norton

I am a UKCP Counsellor and Psychotherapist working in North Manchester. I trained as a counsellor and psychotherapist at the Institute of Psychosynthesis in London. I come from a teaching background and my journey as a counsellor and psychotherapist began after facing my own vulnerability and searching for answers to my own questions about meaning and purpose and finding my true Self.

I have been in private practice since 2007. I have trained in Lifespan Integration (LI). Lifespan Integration has been developed to work with deep levels of trauma and distress and early issues of attachment and bonding. Lifespan Integration can be integrated into Psychosynthesis therapy when appropriate for a client.

In addition to my psychotherapy practice; I continue to work with groups and schools in the community by facilitating meditation and mindfulness through labyrinth workshops. I am an accredited Veriditas Labyrinth facilitator. I regularly run labyrinth workshops for the public looking at different transition points in our life’s journey.

I am accredited through and registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Association of Psychospiritual Practitioners (APP) and work according to their Ethical Principles and Professional Code of Conduct.
